With the price of wool blankets these days, I was not expecting a luxurious one for $99. It was delivered quickly, it is beautifully woven in Italy from South American naturally colored wool, and it is as soft as a cloud! I expect to use this blanket as a good insulating layer under a tightly woven cover, during the worst of winter weather, and it will be a great blanket to use alone later in the spring. Being somewhat cold-natured, I might even consider trying it under air-conditioning; others might find it too heavy for that.
