I expect something called a "bedspread" to have some weight to it but yes, this could easily be remade into curtains or a tablecloth or whatever.
That said, it's gorgeous. The printwork is amazing. The fabric is nicely hemmed, and it's a good size for a queen bed. I've come to like it quite a lot as it gives my bedroom the simple, down-to-earth sort of feel you might find in a B&B in Morocco as opposed to typical American thick polyester luxury. It suits me well.

And I'll have lots of yardage left over to make whatever, pillows or shopping bags, etc. I love that it's hand printed.
