I was skeptical at first, because buying bed linens online can be so tricky. In the past, I've ordered things that looked amazing and received cheaply made scratchy linens. However, I am very satisfied with this duvet!
First of all, it's gorgeous. The damask print is so pretty and unique. The white background is crisp and the black print is perfect. The fabric itself is great. It's not too thick or heavy. It's 100% egyptian cotton sateen and 300 thread count. It's silky smooth right out of the package with just a hint of sheen to it. I was especially impressed by how soft it is, duvets I've had in the past have been scratchy, and this one feels silky smooth, similar to a decent quality sheet.
It's easy enough to put on, and closes via hidden black buttons at the bottom. The shams I bought to match it do match perfectly.

I needed something that would fit my taste and a man's taste and I feel that this did it! My only minor complaint would be that there were some dirt spots on the duvet that were hard to see but still were there. I haven't washed it yet but I'm sure it'll come out. All in all a great find, and I'm more then pleased with this duvet!
