Can't Beat the Cuteness Factor, February 10, 2007 By Camas Mom (Camas, Washington) - See all my reviews This review is from: Under Construction Twin Size Cotton Bedding Set by Olive Kids (Kitchen) I'm big on cool design, and this set has it. The colors are vivid and rich with great looking trucks--funky not goofy. Yes, the comforter is kinda rough, but it does still have good poof. My child has not complained about the feel, and the sheets are nice and soft. The sheets, in fact, have gone through many, many washings due to potty training and they still look perfect. Overall, I would not purchase this low of a threadcount comforter for myself as an adult, but for a kid, knowing it'll only be around for a handful of years, it's sooooooooooooooo cute. We bought two sets for my son's bunkbeds and have light yellow walls. I also found the "Wallies" little wall appliques at Fred Meyer's to go with it. Cute, cute, cute.

Worth the Splurge, August 29, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Under Construction Twin Size Cotton Bedding Set by Olive Kids (Kitchen) I'm thriftier than some moms I know, but I'm also willing to make a splurge once in a while--and this "Under Construction" twin bedding set is an example of a splurge that I'm still very happy about. With Baby #2 nearly here, we needed to finally move our three-year old out of the nursery, and we wanted to make his "big boy" room feel special. This bedding really made our "diggers" theme come alive! It's vibrant and cozy; the images of the diggers are stylishly creative, and the words are a nice touch. I like the polka dot trim and underside of the comforter. Here in hot Houston, we've kept the comforter folded at the foot of his bed this summer, and it still looks nice. I could not find anything comparable (or even strictly construction-themed) at Target, Walmart, or Anna's Linens.
I should note that I didn't get the pillow sham--just a pillow case that matches the sheets. And after I laundered them, the flat sheet wrinkled along the top edge (but in our house, that isn't... Read more
